SUPERFINALE AT ERNÉE
Yamaha will select three (3) riders to represent Team BLU CRU Canada at the YZ BLU CRU SuperFinale in Ernée, France, from October 2–5, 2026.

Three (3) WCAN riders will each receive $2,000, and three (3) ECAN riders will each receive $1,000 to help cover travel and accommodation expenses.
Riders will be selected by September 1, 2026. Selection criteria include results in the specified classes, as well as attitude and character.

FACTORY RIDE AWARD
Back by popular demand, the BLU CRU Factory Ride Award program returns for 2026, giving amateur riders the chance to win the complimentary use of a YZ motorcycle for the following race season, along with a $2,500 Yamaha parts credit.
The 2026 BLU CRU Factory Ride Award will be presented to the Yamaha rider who accumulates the most total points across the country’s three biggest amateur motocross events:
- Western Canadian Amateur National (WCAN) in Raymond, Alberta (July 2–5)
- Eastern Canadian Amateur National (ECAN) in Deschambault, Quebec (July 21–26)
- Walton TransCan Grand National Championship in Walton, Ontario (August 11–15)
“For over a decade, we have proudly offered the prestigious BLU CRU Factory Ride Award to top amateur riders across the country,” explains Justin Balkos, BLU CRU Product Line Manager at Yamaha Motor Canada. “This award is much more than a parts credit and the free use of a YZ—it has become a true achievement that puts our top amateur motocross riders on the radar of factory teams and sponsors.”
In 2025, Travis Gibbs (WCAN), Johnathan Bergeron (ECAN), and Chandler Powell (TransCan) earned the award, joining past winners Dylan Wright and Tanner Ward, who have gone on to become elites in the sport.
How Do You Win?
The BLU CRU Factory Ride Award will be presented to the amateur Yamaha rider who has accumulated the most total points across a maximum of three classes, and who has registered a Yamaha as their race bike at the events listed above.
